Gene's nephew, Jimmy Lee Slover narrates this video, which we originally thought was taken around 1957-58, but a note from Herb Fahr, USS Missouri BB-63 Association made this correction:  The ship was in moth balls at that time. Could have been 1954, the last time she went through the canal before decommissioning in 1955.  Thanks, Herb.
